Here, we all grew up in a different world, a world that most people now call RETRO. An era of Cartridges, split screen multiplayer and bright colourful game boxes. The days where you and your best mate would walk into town and visit the local import games shop. There was this amazing feeling seeing all of the Japanese games boxes and carts hung on the wall. We all wanted to recreate that feeling, and wanted wearable, arcade-inspired streetwear for grown-up players, nostalgia heads, retro tech lovers, collectors and anyone who still feels something when they see a save point, pixel heart, loading screen or perfectly designed cartridge label.

This is what started the idea of RETROGEMA.

The name is a play on Retro Gamer and gēmā / ゲーマー, the Japanese word for gamer. That mix sits at the centre of our brand: retro gaming culture, Japanese import energy, arcade nostalgia and clean streetwear design.

RETROGEMA is for everyone. For the kids who wish they could go back and live those days, and for the grownups that DID live those days.

Every piece is designed to feel familiar, but not obvious. Nostalgic, but not childish. Playful, but still premium. Like something from a fictional arcade clothing label you might have found tucked away in a side street in Tokyo in 1994.

Inspired by 80s and 90s arcade culture, Japanese streetwear, CRT glow, import graphics and the strange little details that made old games feel magic, RETROGEMA turns gaming nostalgia into clothing you can actually wear in real life.
