RETROGEMA clothing is made to order, so choosing the right size matters.
Different products can fit slightly differently depending on the garment style, fabric, cut and supplier. A T-shirt, hoodie and sweatshirt may all have their own measurements, even if the size label looks the same.
Before placing your order, please check the size guide shown on the individual product page. This will give you the most accurate measurements for that specific item.
No one wants to unlock the “wrong size” side quest.
How to find the size guide
On each eligible product page, look for the Size Guide or Size Chart option near the product details.
This guide may include measurements in centimetres and/or inches, depending on the product.
For the best fit, compare the product measurements against an item of clothing you already own and like wearing.
How to measure
For the most accurate comparison:
- Take a similar item you already own, such as a T-shirt, hoodie or sweatshirt.
- Lay it flat on a hard surface.
- Smooth it out naturally, without stretching the fabric.
- Measure across the chest, from side seam to side seam.
- Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.
- Compare your measurements with the product size guide.
Printful recommends measuring garments flat and using consistent reference points, because this helps customers understand how the item will fit before ordering.
Fit notes
RETROGEMA products may include different garment styles, so always check the size guide for the exact item you want.
As a general rule:
- T-shirts may have a regular, relaxed or slightly different fit depending on the blank used.
- Hoodies and sweatshirts may feel thicker, roomier or more structured than T-shirts.
- If you are between sizes, consider whether you prefer a closer fit or a looser streetwear fit.
- For an oversized look, you may want to size up, but always check the product measurements first.
Product measurements may vary
Small differences in measurements can happen during manufacturing. Fabric, stitching and production tolerances can all affect the final fit.
This is normal for apparel and does not always mean the item is faulty.
The size guide on each product page is the best reference before ordering.
